Design, prototype, create and innovate in Thinker Space, an all-new workshop and makerspace at Discovery Place Science.

Get messy and take risks in this unique, hands-on learning space. Learn new skills, such as basic woodworking, sewing and soldering. Try the latest technology, including laser cutters and 3D printers. Connect and collaborate with artists, engineers, crafters, tinkerers and tech enthusiasts.

Thinker Space hosts a variety of educator-led classes for middle and high school students, as well as self-guided design challenges and creative workshops for families and adults.

Lab activities change frequently but always include opportunities to share ideas, build, test, retool and show off your creations. Lab programming is supported by partnerships with educational institutions, businesses and individuals.
