Dance to the music or chill in our 7-story Charlotte IMAX Dome Theatre for a documentary or planetarium show. Grab a date or a group of friends and make the night your own!
Our reimagined monthly series lets you experience the Museum after hours in a grown-up, kids-free environment. Create an evening all your own by adding cocktails and upgraded experiences when you arrive.

Think you can outsmart artificial intelligence? Put your instincts to the test at Machine or Mind?, the ultimate showdown between human creativity and machine-made magic! It’s humans vs. AI in a battle of wits, creativity, and perception. Watch videos, view images and read quotes—some crafted by humans, others generated by AI. Your mission? Decide who made it before the clock runs out! Will your mind triumph over the machine?
Special Guest: From 6:00-8:00 p.m., mingle with special guest Buff Faye, Charlotte’s premier drag performer who was crowned National Entertainer of the Year and named “Best of the Best” Drag Entertainer and Best of Charlotte Drag Queen.
