# Discovery Place Science

Discovery Place Science is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit museum at 168 W 6th St, Charlotte, NC 28202. Open Sunday–Thursday 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. and Friday–Saturday 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. On Fridays that host Science on the Rocks, the museum closes early at 5:00 p.m. The museum features three floors of exhibitions, the Charlotte IMAX Dome Theatre (the Carolinas' largest 79-foot screen), daily live science shows, sensory-friendly hours, and seasonal adult-only events.
