Why Camp in August?
The Brain Boost
“Summer Slide” is real. Participating in an educational camp in August helps reactivate the “learning” parts of the brain, making the transition back to a structured school day much smoother and less stressful.
Cooler Adventures
By August, everyone is tired of the humidity. Our indoor, air-conditioned labs provide a welcome escape from the late-summer heat, allowing kids to run, play, and learn in comfort.
Last-Minute Availability
While June and July fill up fast, August sessions can sometimes be a hidden gem for parents looking for last-minute spots. However, we always recommend registering early to guarantee your choice!
Frequently Asked Questions (August Camps)
Q: Do August camps conflict with local school start dates?
A: We design our schedule to align with most local district calendars (CMS and surrounding counties). However, start dates vary by district and private schools, so please double-check your school’s 2026-2027 calendar before booking.
Q: Is extended care still available in August?
A: Yes! We know parents still have to work even as summer winds down. Extended care runs from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM for all August sessions.
Q: Are the August camps repeats of earlier sessions?
A: Yes, they are repeat sessions of our most popular themes. If your child missed out on Science of Superheroes or Junior Chemists in June or July, August is their second chance to catch the fun!
