This application is for NEW and RETURNING Apprentices looking to join our Summer 2026 Cohort.
The STEM Corp Apprenticeship is a volunteer-based opportunity offered to students 14-18 years old. This program provides students with hands-on experience volunteering in a museum while working side by side with museum professionals. Students will engage with our guests through STEM based experiential programs, lab activities, and a variety of programs and activities.
Museum Operations Apprentice: Applicants must be 14-year-old by May 31 to participate in the program. Shift options are scheduled during museum operations.
Students will be required to serve 80 hours between May 2026 – September 2026.
Students are also required to attend a scheduled Orientation and Training based on their service location.
It is the responsibility of the Applicant to schedule their hours/weeks or service in advance; Youth Development does not schedule volunteer shifts for student Apprentices.
Applications will be available from now – April 12 at 5:00 p.m.
Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted, no exceptions.

Orientation is required for NEW apprentices.
