What is the DP Science Circle?

The DP Science Circle is a giving society that supports Discovery Place Science, Charlotte’s most popular cultural institution, welcoming 400,000 guests each year from the Carolinas and beyond. 

Since its founding in 1947, Discovery Place has been a national leader in STEM education, offering immersive, inquiry-based experiences that inspire learners of all ages. 

Today, Discovery Place provides field trips, outreach, camps, youth development programs, and exhibitions that serve 100,000 students annually.
